Dr. Kenneth Lester C. Lim, BS-MMG, DDM, MSc. Oral Implantology
Finished his Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management degree at De La Salle University in 2002 and continued with his studies at the University of the Philippines where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2011. He pursued his specialization in Dental Implants and completed his Master of Science degree in Oral Implantology at the Goethe University, Frankfurt Germany in 2018.
To further his educational training in the field of Dentistry, he attended several postgraduate courses as well. Dr. Kenneth completed his Postgraduate Anatomical Surgical Training at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria, in 2014. He also completed the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) MaxiCourse in 2017, a 300 hour comprehensive lecture, laboratory session and live surgical demonstration training program in implant dentistry offered in the United States.
Dr. Kenneth also received intensive training in Oral Implantology in 2012 under the guidance of Dr. Tony C.T. Chou, founder of the Taiwan Academy of Implant Dentistry (TAID) in Taipei, Taiwan. He attended various training courses and seminars under Dr. Yasunori Hotta, the current executive director and chair of the Credential Committee of the Japanese Society of Oral Implantology (JSOI). He trained in Korea in Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT / CT Scan) in diagnoses and interpretation. He also trained in computer- aided design and computer-aided manufacturing(CAD/CAM) Dentistry at the Dentsply Asia Centre, Hong Kong in 2010 and again in Manila in 2013 and also completed the Fundamentals of Dental Ceramics Workshop conducted at National University, College of Dentistry in 2012 under Gary Lauffenburger, CDT on cosmetic dentistry.
At the 106th Philippine Dental Association scientific conference, Dr. Kenneth was fortunate to be invited as a lecturer on the topic of Dental Implants. He was awarded the fellowship status and is an active member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), the world’s largest dental implant organization and the largest provider of continuing dental implant education. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and the Philippine College of Oral Implantologists (PCOI). Aside from his private practice he served as a faculty and assistant director of the Department of Oral Implant Education, Clinical Program and Research at National University, Manila from 2013-2016. Today, he serves as a mentor and a lecturer to the participants of the Oral Implantology Clinical and Surgical training program in Manila that launched last 2016.
